GENTLE EFFICIENT PROFOUND
TRAUMA RECOVERY AND HEALING
First let me say, I am so sorry you have experienced trauma. Those that have experienced trauma often feel shame, anger, grief, numbness and isolation. You may even experience flashbacks and confusion when trying to cope. Whatever has happened, I want you to know there is a way to heal without reliving the full traumatic experience gently and easily with Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery®.
When a traumatic event occurs, it can overwhelm our normal coping mechanisms, leading to fragmented or incomplete processing of the experience. These fragments of the trauma may become lodged in our subconscious, persistently resurfacing through intrusive thoughts, nightmares, or emotional triggers, as the brain struggles and tries to integrate and make sense of the overwhelming experience, keeping it stuck in the subconscious mind. Over time, these unresolved fragments can contribute to various mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety, or depression to just name a few.
The good new is there is a way to heal using SMGI®.
SMGI® utilizes the subconscious by focusing on bodily sensations to access and process trauma. Through a unique combination of techniques such as mindfulness, body scanning, meditation and hypnosis, individuals can learn to observe and regulate their physiological responses, allowing buried emotions and memories associated with trauma to emerge and be safely processed without fully reliving the traumatic event. By honoring the body's innate wisdom and facilitating a deeper connection with subconscious experiences, Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery® promotes healing and integration on both conscious and subconscious levels to achieve overall homeostasis and wellbeing.
Feeling hopeless in the face of trauma is a natural response, yet it's essential to recognize the inherent strength you posses within yourself. Be kind and compassionate during this time. You have been through so much and have survived, and are now seeking help. Despite the challenges, every step taken towards healing, whether small or large, signifies resilience and courage. Remember, while the journey may seem daunting, your capacity to overcome and grow from adversity is profound, offering a beacon of hope amidst the darkness.
And let me tell you, there is so much hope for you to not only survive but thrive from your experience using SMGI®.
